The Wildfitness Hudson Valley Retreat starts on a Thursday afternoon at 1.00pm and ends after lunch on Sunday. The retreat includes a total of 8 fun movement sessions of varied intensity, delicious, locally-sourced food, and expert tuition from our team of Wildfitness Coaches. We will summarize our approach in a few informal workshops, and provide ways in which to incorporate what you have learned into your daily lives.

We will help you to realize your full potential! Prepare to experience moments of “you’ve got to be kidding, I can’t do that,” followed shortly by moments of “wow, I just did that”. Your body is more resilient, flexible and adaptable than you know. With the right nourishment, and the time to rest to help your body repair and develop, we can show you how to be the best version of yourself!

Over the course of the long weekend, you will be taught by our expert coaches to move well and with confidence. We will be staying at the fantastic Minnewaska Lodge, with views of the mountains and large grounds to play in. We will be running and climbing, playing games and mixing high intensity with serious de-stressing.

Here's what to expect:

Thursday Clients will arrive mid to late afternoon. After a meet and greet and settling accommodations, we will have an activity session followed by dinner and the opportunity for them to rest.

Friday This will be spent on site at the Minnewaska Lodge, where we will host various activity sessions about the lodge's beautiful, surrounding property. There will be breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as the opportunities to rest and enjoy downtime in the gorgeous NY setting. Each client will also be treated to a half hour massage.

Saturday After a quick breakfast, clients will be transported to the Lost City area of the Minnewaska preserve. The day will encompass a hike that incorporates much of the concepts covered in the day's activities in a more backcountry setting. This includes some light trail running, scrambling, light climbing, exploration, and lunch atop a stunning vista overlooking the valley. Clients will return to the lodge for our final, celebratory dinner.

Sunday One final memorable activity session will be followed by breakfast and then farewell.

Location
Our Hudson Valley Retreats are based at the Minnewaska Lodge in Gardiner, NY, nestled in the lovely Shawangunk Mountains, and easily accessed from New York City via Rt. 87N. Food and service stations are available throughout the ride.

There are three main airports in the greater NY area, JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark International. While JFK and LaGuardia are closer in proximity to Rt. 87, they both require navigation of New York City. If you select one of these two, be prepared for the possibility of traffic! Newark, while further, offers more direct access to major highways. Car rentals and lodging are available at all three locations.
