Team

The Wildfitness team is comprised of a bunch of people with one common aim - to spread "wildness" in the world! Whether in London or on location you'll find us seeking nature and natural movement wherever we can.

Tara

Tara Wood - Founder and Director
Tara founded Wildfitness in 2001 as the natural expression of her passion for the outdoors and belief in the potential of the human body.  Tara studied Biology at Oxford University and practices a variety of sports including kitesurfing and rock climbing.  Tara is constantly developing the courses.

Lee

Lee Saxby - Technical Director
After graduating with a degree in Sport Science Lee has been on a 15 year quest around the globe, studying with leading researchers in the fields of biomechanics, nutrition, athletic training and evolutionary biology.  The result of his studies is a pioneering approach to human health and fitness.

Ed

Edward Drax - Chief Executive Officer
After 3 years in advertising and 11 years in commercial property, Edward brings financial and project management skills to Wildfitness.  His boundless enthusiasm for all things physical led him to complete the Marathon Des Sables in 2001 and he is happiest immersed in nature… skiing, kite-surfing and strangely, swinging kettle bells.

Laura

Laura Knightly Brown - Marketing Director
After 5 years in advertising, Laura decided it was time to go travelling and rediscover her wild side!  Back in the UK, Laura joined the Wildfitness team and does everything she can to help spread the wild word.  Her favourite ways to keep wild in London are dancing, running, yoga and getting lost on Hampstead Heath.

Netta

Netta Pakenham-Walsh - Sales Manager
Netta is the friendly voice at the end of the phone when you call Wildfitness.  After studying languages at university, she spent several years working abroad exploring different countries.  Coming from an island, the sea and countryside often beckon and in London you'll find her prancing about the parks or rattling around on her rusty bike!

Sarah

Sarah Dundas - Course Manager (Kenya)
Sarah has worked managing hotels & camps for many years.  Born and brought up in Kenya she is a wildlife expert and a Bronze Level guide of the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association.  Ready to tailor the course to your individual needs, she makes everyone feel welcome and cared for!

Boaz

Boaz Nyangai Mushivoji - Assistant Manager (Kenya)
Boaz is originally from Tirika in Western Kenya and has worked at Wildfitness since it was founded; first as gardener for Baraka House, then as the driver and now as Assistant Manager.  Boaz is incredibly enthusiastic, friendly and willing to help in any way possible to ensure Wildfitness clients, and Baraka House staff, are happy and comfortable.
